Gilligan’s Island had been review by the Times in 1964 which wrote that Gilligan’s Island’ is a television series that never should have reached the air this season, or any other season. That was the staple indication which played for 3 seasons. The creator of Gilligan’s Island is Sherwood Schwartz. This show aired in 1964 until 1967 via CBS.

Sherwood Schwartz died in Tuesday morning on July 12, 2011. He died of natural causes at age 94. He was the pop culture who impact to the long survives. Gilligan’s Island is one of 2 he has created. The Brady Bunch is his other sitcom which created by him. His sitcom has own theme song which he wrote the lyrics.

Sherwood Schwartz was explained that he created “Gilligan’s Island” because he wants to escape from “The Red Skelton Show,” his show in 7 years. He became the writer in the show. He also won Emmy Award in 1961.

There are a lot of things remembering Gilligan’s Island, such as the player Alan Hale Jr. as the exasperated skipper, Jim Backus and Natalie Schafer as the millionaire and his wife, Russell Johnson as the professor, Dawn Wells as the naïve country girl and Tina Louise as the sexy movie star.
